Diane and I spent a couple of hours on Jackson Street today--perfect day for it.
This is my sketch, which I drew first, but painted after doing the painting below, trying to be looser and less detailed.
9x12 Fabriano rough. I liked the way the paint settled into the texture, but there is very little lifting ability ...
